Derived from a much older Chinese game called “Seven Boards of Cunning” or “Seven Clever Pieces”, Taamaa’s translation of the tangram puzzle contains 16 puzzles to solve. The monochromatic puzzles and playing pieces, known as tans, are housed inside a balsa wood box with a bonded leather lid, which is an eco-friendly material made from leather discards.
The game’s appeal lies in its ability to engage the mind, stimulate creativity, and challenge problem-solving skills.
