  • We ship to all locations within India.
  • We also provide international shipping to over 150 countries, with various shipping options available based on your preferences. 

SHIPPING CARRIER

  • The House Of Things (THOT) primarily ships domestic orders through reputable logistics providers like Blue Dart and Delhivery. However, suppliers shipping directly may opt for alternative shipping methods.  
  • International orders are shipped exclusively via FedEx and DHL for reliable and efficient delivery.
  • The tracking details and carrier information associated with your order will be provided in your shipment confirmation email/SMS/WhatsApp as per suitability.

SHIPPING RATES

  • INDIA: We offer free shipping all over India.* For most products shipped within India, displayed prices are all-inclusive, covering taxes and duties.
  • INTERNATIONAL: Shipping costs will vary depending on the item purchased, as well as mode of payment and delivery location.  The final shipping cost for your order will be communicated to you in the best possible way within 24-48 hours of receiving your confirmed order.

  • Please note that lead times for processing may vary for each product, as some are ready to ship while others are made to order. For specific lead time information, kindly refer to the product details section.

  • Product Prices displayed are inclusive of all taxes and duties.

TAXES AND CUSTOM DUTIES FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

  • For orders shipped outside India, duties and taxes applicable are borne by the recipient and directly paid to the respective authorities.
  • Cross border orders are shipped to the recipients on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis .
  • Our Logistics service partners may help you with the process of performing all the documentation and duty/taxes/any other levy for some nominal charge. HOW MUCH WILL I BE CHARGED FOR SHIPPING?

  • We prioritize partnering with top-tier service providers to ensure your goods reach you safely and promptly. Due to the dynamic nature of each product, shipping costs may vary based on destination, dimensions, and fragility of your order.

ARE THERE EVER ANY ADDITIONAL SHIPPING FEES?

  • Typically, our transparent pricing covers all associated charges. However, in exceptional cases such as handling oversized items or specialized delivery services, additional charges may apply due to the expertise and equipment required.      

MAY I REQUEST FOR AN ESTIMATE ON TRANSPORTATION COSTS

  • Of Course! If you require a transportation quote, you will need to provide your address and  zip/pin code to our team via email at [email protected]. We aim to get back to you with an estimate in 8 to12 working hours.

INSURANCE

  • The House Of Things insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you.
  • We require a signature for any order delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you.
  • We kindly request an unboxing video to be provided within 24-48 hours of receiving your order(s). If packaging appears tampered or damaged, please refrain from accepting the package.
  • If you've designated a recipient other than yourself for delivery (e.g., as a gift), you acknowledge that their signature, or that of anyone at the delivery address, constitutes evidence of delivery and fulfilment by The House Of Things.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Order fulfilment times are calculated post order confirmation.
  • Please note that estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and begin from the date of dispatch. Any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes are beyond our control. 
  • We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.
  • All orders require a signature upon receipt. 

RETURNS

  • We accept returns only in case of damages in-transit or manufacturing defects.
  • Items are returnable only if unused, in the state you received it, and/or in the original packaging (only for domestic deliveries within India).
  • Items purchased at discounted prices cannot be returned.
  • Custom Made/Commissioned items cannot be returned.
  • Product return requests must be initiated within 24-48 hours. 

CANCELLATION 

  • Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled. In exceptional cases, please contact our concierge at +918003011110 or email us at [email protected] to discuss cancellation options. 
  • Please specify the reason for your return in the email, along with your order details. 
  • All costs of return shipping need to be borne by the purchaser (Unless the order received is defective). An unboxing video needs to be shared within 24-48 working hours of receiving the order. 

INCORRECT/DAMAGED/DEFECTIVE ITEMS 

  • Please inspect the shipment externally upon delivery to your doorstep. This ensures you receive the correct products and helps prevent any potential damage or discrepancies.
  • We highly recommend recording a clear video while unboxing your products. In the unfortunate event of any damages, missing parts, or receiving incorrect items, please promptly email us your order number, shipment tracking details, along with photos and videos of the issue within 24-48 hours of receiving your order.
  • Returned items must be in their original packaging.
  • We are happy to replace or refund in store credits  for any defective items.
     

RETURNING A GIFT

  • We are very sorry that your gift did not work for you. Please email us at [email protected] for assistance in returning the item.
  • Unfortunately, store credit cannot be issued for returned gift items. However, we're happy to facilitate a gift exchange for another item of your choice.

REFUNDS

Refund Processing:

  • We will process all the refunds and/or provide credits after the returned goods have been received in original condition and packaging. The value of your order will be refunded, excluding the costs for shipping and handling each way, within 15 working days after we acknowledge the receipt and confirmation of the condition of the returned goods.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Products purchased under any promotional offer or discounted scheme cannot be exchanged.
  • Kindly Note: No cash returns are provided.
  • Credit Note will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue. You can use this credit note for the purchase of same or higher value.
  • Modification of Terms and Conditions of Exchanges and Returns policy - 

The House Of Things (https://thehouseofthings.com/) may at any time modify the User Agreement without any prior notification to you. Management decision of the www.thehouseofthings.com would be the final decision subsequent to any modification of the User Agreement; In the event the modified User Agreement is not acceptable to you, you should discontinue using the service. However, if you continue to use the service, you shall be deemed to have agreed to accept and abide by the modified User Agreement.
