Shinju, the Japanese word for Pearl, is a collection of trays carried on ceramic pearls. Differentiating in size and positioned sporadically, the pearls add a certain lightness and become a jewellery-like detail. The rectangular shape and depth of the tray makes Shinju ideal for varied storage purposes, or as a decorative object holding a branch or set of dried flowers. The surface is hand glazed in order to achieve a unique texture. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.
