From the Gazette du Bon Ton, 1920, issue #10, Planche 72 and Charles Martin's famous Torquate Suite, this art print titled "Le Mariage Melancolique" is a re-creation of the original Pochoir print. Martin (1848-1934) illustrated for Gazette throughout its entire publishing history (1912-1925) as well as for Harper's Bazaar and Vogue.
