Vedika is our signature toile de Jouy, a French textile created in the 18th century to rival India’s chintz trade. Printed in a single colour, as is traditional of this style, the Vedika pattern depicts ancient Vijayanagara temple landscapes. Our dohar features this print in indigo with polka dotted edging.
Our dohars are printed on the central layer, giving just a subtle glimpse of the design, and their three layers of cotton muslin are bound together with a contrasted edging.
