The Trikona Coffee Table was the first exploration under the Trikona collection following the inspiration from the shape of a boomerang which simply reflects in its form. A simple arrangement of two boomerangs, mirrored horizontally, over which a glass top sits supported at the three connecting points, results in a stable form displaying dynamic geometries when viewed from different angles.
ABOUT THE COLLECTION
‘Trikona’ sprung out of an inquiry into the stability of a triangular form in various ways of seeing. Each piece reveals, through its bare joints, the convergence of elements that shape the design, all rooted in the triangular form expressed across one or multiple dimensions.
