How would you describe your interior style at home?
VINITA: My home is completely eclectic, it’s a mix of all the styles I love, and I do love it all!..
Current design trends you love…
VINITA: Botanicals are everywhere, and that’s my crush. Whether it’s wallpaper or crockery or fabric, it’s a trend that is truly everywhere.
Organic layers, materials such as rattan or cane or even bamboo, clay, wood, brick, and terrazzo are absolutely a must-have in any space.
Layering of tables has finally become a thing!! It’s such a functional design idea … multiple cocktail tables at home is not only stylish, but so practical as well!!
What’s hanging above your sofa?
VINITA: Everything!! … There's a stunning Rama Tanjore without any gilt + a BV Doshi sketch + a hand carved piece of wood with a Tree of Life + two gorgeous black and white photos from the India series by Norman Parkinson + two Fornasetti plates, and a Cross.
