House of Knots, a distinguished name in the realm of luxury home furnishings, has joined hands with the visionary architect and Designer, Sona Reddy, to introduce their latest masterpiece, an opulent collection of handmade rugs, affectionately named “Ãnändå.” This transcendent collaboration goes beyond the mere pursuit of luxury; it is an eloquent celebration of design innovation, a homage to the sacred culture of South India, and a profound ode to the enduring traditions that this remarkable region cherishes.

 

 

Ãnändå is more than a collection of rugs; it’s a luxury tapestry interwoven with the vibrant threads of culture and tradition, offering a unique glimpse into the untouched cultural heritage of Southern India. Crafted from the finest materials, each rug showcases intricate designs that effortlessly encapsulate the essence of the region. Ikai Asai’s offerings constitute bespoke handmade objects that are a result of the design house’s collaborations with artisans, designers, and architects across the design spectrum. Drawing upon traditional crafts like Longpi pottery from North-East India, Kansa art from Central India, block printing techniques from Gujarat, and jewellery stone carving crafts from Rajasthan, Ikai Asai has established itself as one of the pioneers in craft revivals across the country. 

Their latest Totem collection reflects a childlike play and symbolizes the synergies that form a connection between our inner thoughts and outer expressions. Organic pebble forms stack together and blend balance, harmony, and serenity in a seamless cohesion, drawing inspiration from nature’s magnanimity.
