An unusual double-armed Argand-style candelabra that converts into a wall torchère, this collectible is crafted in brass. Originally designed as an oil lamp with glass shades, it is now suited for use with candlesticks. The two arms are detachable from the central stand, allowing them to be carried individually - a distinctly Victorian detail.
The column rests on a round base and features a hinged mechanism that bends to 90 degrees, enabling the piece to be mounted on the wall as a sconce. One holder bears a marking reading “WM” alongside a fish pierced with a spear. Likely of European origin, dating to the early 1900s.
