An ode to the Toda community of the Nilgiris, this coffee mug and tray set carries the rhythmic geometry of the Puthukuli shawl into moments of gathering and sharing. Linear motifs move in quiet balance across porcelain, bringing a sense of heritage and harmony to the table.ABOUT THE COLLECTION'Threads of the Nilgiris' is Nishita Fine Tableware’s contemporary reinterpretation of Toda Pukhoor embroidery, tracing its origins to an old photograph, and developed through engagement with Toda women artisans.
