The name Yana is inspired by a large monolithic rock found in the hills of Karnataka and represents the journey of life—a path of learning, growth, and discovery. Its rugged facade, etched with tales untold, casts intricate shadows against the sky.

Crafted in wood and inlaid in metal, it combines the natural organic forms of a rock surface with geometric curves and symmetry. The surface of the wood has been charred and stained combining the meditative Japanese process of Shou Sugi Ban with wood stain that has been perfected over time.
